I was just wondering if anyone got or is getting married at the larkfield manor. Or even if you went to a wedding there. FH and I are seriously considering it for our reception and I just wanted some opinions before I officially book.
Thanks ladies!!!

I've been to a wedding there and am having my wedding there as a result. The food is amazing which is the #1 reason why I choose larkfield. The service is great and the people are awesome.
Feel free to FM me if you have any specific details. If you do a search you will find some additional information and feedback.

I've been to two weddings there and they were great. I wanted a different kind of setting, but it was a great place and we really liked it. :)

did you go for a tasting yet?

Re: Larkfield Manor
No, no tasting yet. I'm not too worried. The food at most places is relatively the same. Plus in the contract they are going to include that if I don't like the food during the food tasting they will cancel the contract and I'll get my money back. So, I would assume that if they are that confident, then I won't have to worry.

Re: Larkfield Manor
FH and I chose LM over Villa Lombardi's. They offered us a fantastic price for a March '08 wedding, the staff was very accommodating and we loved the Manor Room.
We went to a food tasting in June and it was fantastic. They have also done a lot of remodeling and they are in the process of re-landscaping the grounds.
We are very excited to be holding our reception there. Good luck with your decision!

My mom got married there-everything went beautifully. The food and staff were amazing. Pics came out great, and everything went off without a hitch! Highly recommended.

Re: Larkfield Manor
I went to see them for my hall, here my pro's and con's:
Pro: loved the enterance way, it was completely redone. they give you a lot of food reasonably priced the owners are new, very dedicated and nice.
Con: Didnt like how it was on a main road, right across from 7-11 the outside was being renovated, so i couldnt see how it would be done. I liked the smaller room better than the larger room, but I wouldnt fit in the smaller room! didnt like the CH room (but it could spill out outside, which wasn't finished when i went to see it)
My main reason for NOT choosing them was that the outside wasnt finished (the gardens) so I didnt know what it would look like.
You girls have been so helpful with everything! We booked yesterday and I'm soooo excited! George made me feel like he wanted ME to book there, not just anyone.
Church and hall booked...million other things to go

i'm getting married there next month and we were amazed at the food tasting-both the quantity and the quality were excellent. George was very gracious, and showed us everything, and spent alot of time with us, but was never pushy or rude. we saw a cocktail hour set up that day and were very impressed. we can't wait til next month!
