This was the place FH and I decided on before we decided to do a destination wedding. I went to a show case there and loved it. Check my album for pics!

Re: Larkfield Manor
I booked my wedding there for August 16th 2008. They quoted me $95.00 per person for the Saturday Night. The place is great. I tasted thier cocktail hour food and it was delish! They give the parents left over cocktail hour food or will donate it to the Harvest House ( food for the homeless). They also pack up 10 dinners for the bride and groom because they say most couples don't have time to sit and really enjoy their meals. Steve and I plan on enjoying our meals at the wedding and even asking for seconds if we can fit it in our tummies!!! They do offer seconds to anyone who wishes, but most people after a full cocktail hour, an appetizer, salad and main entree, don't particularly want more food!

Re: Larkfield Manor
I visited Larkfield Manor two weeks ago while I was shopping around for places for my reception. I was not thrilled with it, it had a funky smell, kind of like moth balls. I guess for a smaller event (under 150 people) they would accomodate, but for our 230 person wedding, they just could not meet our needs.

They were supposed to have put a new gazebo in in Janaury. Anyone have pics? Can you FM me if you do?

Re: Larkfield Manor
That was my second choice for reception hall. I loved the place, but the location was too far for us. I know we were looking at a Friday or Sunday in April and we were quoted somewhere in the $65pp range. We were looking at the Garden room. The grounds were pretty although a bit small. I've heard great things about the place, in terms of food. I know their coffee and desserts are delish! Good luck
