HI EVERYONE I BOOKED MY WEDDING AT JOHN ANTHONY'S FOR AUG. 27 2004, A WEEK AFTER I BOOKED I FOUND OUT THAT THEY FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY SO NOW I AM LOOKING FOR A NEW PLACE. SOMEONE TOLD ME TO LOOK AT LARKFIELD MANOR. I'VE NEVER BEEN THERE SO IF ANYONE HAS PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ITS WORTH LOOKING AT. THANKS
They redid it a few years ago, and it looks nice I went to a wedding there, and it was a nice place with great food.

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
Larkfield was my #2 pick. I loved them! Their food and menu choices sound amazing and the price was good too. I loved their little gardens for taking pics too. I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful there. (ps - why are you yelling? )

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
A friend of mine went to a wedding there recently and said it was a really nice place however... there were two other weddings going on at the same time. Three weddings at a time! Did the people at Larkfield mention how many other weddings there might be? Would you mind if there was even only one other wedding aside from yours?

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
My first pick is the SandCastle -- where I booked!! It was between those two. Different styles, I know but I really liked them both.

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
I check out Larkfield manor out as well. It was also my #2 choice. I loved the atmosphere and they were willing to give an extravagant food tasting. My concern was the # of people it could fiit and thats why we booked with Chateau B. Good luck

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
I was the MOH at my best friends wedding there in May. It was a really nice experience. I didnt have a good opinion on it based upon parties there years ago but I have to say it surprised me greatly. My FH said it was probably the best food he's ever had at a wedding. The staff was very nice, the room was nice, I think they did renovations just a few years ago. There was another weddign there at teh same time but I dont think I ever saw that bride. Any Questions, feel free.... Good Luck

I was at a wedding there a long time ago when it was different owners, but I did want you to know that it was a great wedding and the food was good.

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
Well I'm a 2nd 'going-to-be bride' and my first wedding was held at the Larkfield. I have nothing but positive comments about them. Our maitre d' Woody was top notch & willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. There are only 2 weddings at a time and they are scattered...we did not even see the other wedding (except if guests were using the bathroom). The room is beautiful and HUGE and the food was excellent. So many people commented on how nice it was all around. We forgot to take our top cake level so after the honeymoon Woody had called & told us he had one made up for us. The only negative is there aren't any grounds to speak of (besides a tiny pond/mini bridge), but otherwise I would highly recommend. FM me if you have any other q's. By the way this was in 1997 (I know they revised since then).

Re: LARKFIELD MANOR
I am having my reception there in November. I loved my food tasting. They recently redid the main room, they raised the ceiling and changed the lighting. I have never heard anything bad about them. Frank is the man you will probably speak to. He is really nice. If you have any questions, let me know!!
