Larkfield Manor was amazing!!! We had a great time. Everyone was really nice and accomodating from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Fiance and I really love it. If it was in Nassau county we would have booked right there, no joke. The only thing making us stop and think is the distance for us and our guests. I have a lot more info to share but I'm short on time right now (on a break between classes). I'll give you more info later. If you have any specific questions just ask
I think if you really love it, distance should matter. You will be in a limo and something as big as a wedding shouldn't stop anyone from coming because it's a little far. I've flown to NC for a friends wedding and I'm now flying to FL in November for my cousin's wedding. Told you it's beautiful there, knew you'd love it

Thanks for the suggestion dancinmyazoff. You were so right. It's funny because the website does not do the place justice. I wasn't too excited about seeing it because on the website it hjust looked okay, but in person it was amazing.
I know distance shouldn't matter but it just something to consider. We only have a small guest list 50-60 people. A lot of them are his family's friends so I don't really know them. I'm just not sure if everyone would be able to come. Also they say to expect 20% not to come and if that's the case the I won't even make my minimum.

I went to a wedding there. It is very pretty. The food was great and the room was beautiful with the seat covers and all.
The only thing I didn't like was that the room is soooo long. We felt so far away from the B&G.

Guests will travel if they really want to be there. My cousin's church was in Staten Island and the reception in NJ.
