So tonight we had our tasting at Larkfield and I have to say I was completely wowed by the food and the service. FH and I invited 4 other family members and we were glad we had the others there because they gave us so much food!
The waiter came over and started us off with a champagne toast, there was red and white wine on the able as well. We were than served different choices of salads, Caesar, Greek and tri color, all were delicious! After the salads came the entrees, filet mignon, shrimp scampi, Asian salmon, stuffed chicken, chicken Marsala, a grilled salmon and rack of lamb. I am not a salmon person so I tried all the meats. They were all fantastic! The beef melted in my mouth. The sides were good, the risotto was soooooo good and creamy. We have the Gold package so we pick six different entrees. All I know is that this is going to be hard! After the entree came dessert, we were brought out a three tier Viennese tray, filled with fruit, pastries, parfaits and cookies. We were also offered coffee, cappuccino, espresso and cordials.
From beginning to end the experience was first class. There were about 5 other families there doing tastings but you never ever felt rushed. We were there for 2 hours. I am more excited than ever now!

what is asian salmon??? i loveee salmon but didnt like the salmon they gave us on the trial, so we went with the tilapia which was amazing!!!
how was the stuffed chicken-- we had tried the french breast chicken and didnt like it so we went with the stuffed for the day of.
the sides are all new/ different too- so excited to hear you liked it!!

The Asian salmon had a sesame crust and like a soy ginger sauce.. FH and FMIL liked it but we decided to go with the other salmon because we figured more guests will enjoy that.. The stuffed chicken was DELICIOUS, it had a spinach and cheese stuffing and the chicken was very moist and not dry at all! The sides were amazing, the risotto was so good as was the wild rice!

Sounds awesome! So you mainly tried the entrees, not any sides right? Where did they do the tasting for you (upstairs?)? What did everyone wear to the tasting? Do they bring everyone a Viannese tray of dessert? Where did you go for the tasting- the main building or the office across the street? Did you get to look at the reception room all set up?

We tried the salads, entrees with sides (mashed potatoes, risotto, wild rice, vegetables). Our tasting was in the larger ballroom because there was a wedding going on in the smaller room which is where our wedding will be. They did let me look at the room set up for the wedding. You go to the main building, they no longer have the office across the street. They do bring everyone the Viennese tray for dessert and they give you choices of coffee, cappuccino, espresso and cordials as well. I had to work yesterday so I was dressed from going to work.. FH wore khakis and a polo but other families were dressed in jeans and some guys had football jerseys on. I do suggest tipping the waiters though.. they were phenomenal!

What menu are you using? We didn't have the lamb. My in-laws complained about the talapia. But the chicken, salmon and steak was good.

Just got back from the tasting and everything was awesome. My fh and I were deciding on what three to pick until we found out we were having all six options. Thats was even better.
