Las Vegas in January

Las Vegas in January

FHs brother is paying for the two of us plus their youngest sister and her boyfriend...to fly & stay in Vegas for 5 days/4 nights.

So he's obviously looking for affordability...anyone have suggestions?!?!

Where to stay?

Best airline to fly? Airlines tostay away from?

He's going to book either today or tomorrow.

Also...what's the weather like? Must Do & See things?

Thanks!

I am heading there tomorrow. I will report back when I return on the 17th. I know we are flying America West and the flight is $250 round trip.

Re: Las Vegas in January

try looking into the monte carlo, i've stayed there for as cheap as 59.99 a night and it's a really nice hotel and centrally located on the strip so you can get to lots of other hotels easily.

weather in jan can be cold. when i was there it was 40s and 50s. i wished i had brought a sweater. it depends though.

things to do, go to a cirque de soleil show, or blue man group. check out each hotel's little attraction eg fountains at bellagio, pirate fight at treasure island, lions at mgm, canal at venetian. the shark reef at mandalay bay is cool. also i love m&m world. good shopping in caesar's palace. i've heard the roller coaster on ny,ny is great, but short and expensive.

that's all i can think of for now.

oh yeah we flew southwest once, works well if you're near islip, and america west once which was horrible.
