fh's bm went to american laser centers- i *think* it was around $600 for the first and $50 for each after. he had serious back hair (eek!). good luck and let us know how it goes

actually i'm pretty sure once you pay you are done - i've been going for two years, and i only paid the one time - like $2k for brazilian bikini, underarm, upper lip... etc. you can keep going back until you're satisfied

It hasn't worked well in other areas for you? I would so do a brazilian and underarm!

it's working, i just didn't think it would take this long... i've been going for like 2 years... but that's also because you need to wait 6-8 weeks between sessions.

What's the name of the place you went to?

it's american laser center. I go to the one on park ave, but there are a bunch.

ALC

Does your hair have to be long to do this? I get grossed out when I don't shave for a few days lol

I take my daughter to Spatique / Dr. Peredo in Smithtown. It was $125 for the first visit and $100 after that. She's due for a 3rd so I can't tell you how many visits it will take.

Good luck

Re: Laser Hair removal

okay so i bleach too
i thought i was like the only one

i have read so many magazines that are like 'dont bleach, blonde hair is NOT better than dark hair - it is still hair' LOL but it WAS getting ridiculous. . . I used to do it once a month and then it was getting so bad i had to do it once a week or even once every five days.

I got ONE laser treatment and the hair is still there BUT i am back to bleaching once a month again

I wanted to go a few more times BUT it is $250 each time and now it is too late

FYI: if you get ANY sun on the lasered area it will PERMANENTLY tan darker than the rest of your skin so i didnt want to have to worry about that on my HM

I asked my makeup artist and she P R O M I S E D me it wouldn't show up in pictures and I made her stare at it under the light

btw- it is so gross.

it so is. Joey even points it out and touches it. It was hysterical the first time he walked in the bathroom and i was bleaching... he was like, um, what the hell is that?

that is sooo true. I have to pluck my mom's chin hair whenever i go over there - just like i used to for my grandma.
I stopped bleaching I guess when I started waxing way back... but i used to. I still think blonde hair is better than dark hair.

ha ha yeah my poor mom i have to pluck her hair too

and my grandma, she passed away at 88 and she had Alzheimer's but man, every once in a while she would be like 'why the heck are you letting me walk around like this?!' and we would have to pluck her LOL its one of my funniest memories of her!

Re: Laser Hair removal

What about a hair removal cream? I used one from Sally Hansen that was specifically for facial hair and it worked really well. It lasted about 2-3 weeks.
