Laser Hair Removal?

Hey Ladies... I am really wanting to embark on this journey waxing seems lik a waste when Laser is not that much more and its permanent.
Does anyone have any experience they can offer? Does the hair really not grow back? They said it would take about 8-14 sessions for a bikini not to grow back, at 1 X every 5 weeks thats like a year committment!

Wouuld love to know anyones feedback!
Thanks!

That is a lot of sessions.

I did 3 sessions, I can always add at Satorni (?) Laser in Hicksville. I found a deal on Groupon.

I did one session 6 weeks ago and nothing really grew back. The only hair that I seemed to have was probably missed and was not a big deal. I shaved for the first time in 6 weeks last night because I had an appointment today. I just went for my second session today. My area was the Brazilian area.

I had a great experience at Laser Plus Spa in Bellmore. I got a Groupon there a long time ago for bikini and it worked great. Their standard package is 6 sessions. I went back for underarm during Spa Week and bought a package at a really low rate. I went 4 weeks ago for the first treatment and nothing has grown back still (but that's not typical).
If you can find a Groupon for a place thats been recommended, it is so worth it. Just be careful with Groupons because I bought one to a different place in Garden City and they used a different type of laser. I sat through 3 treatments with barely any results, so I just gave up on that place.

I think a lot of it depends on the thickness and amount of hair. I did six sessions that I got from a groupon (it was a while ago and I can't remember the name of the place) and I haven't seen a lot of regrowth but after the last treatment it hadn't removed all the hair. That's not to say it wasn't worth it. I used to get Brazilian waxes every four weeks and now I shave about once a week.

Each person varies and each body part varies, but overall i think it is definitely worth it. The only thing you have to be careful about is if it is a body part that will be exposed to sun, because you can't be out in the sun or go tanning at least 2 weeks before each session. Some areas you need to try to schedule to happen through the winter months.
I go to Desire Perfection Spa and they usually have packages for 6 sessions, I have had 3 areas done. 2 of which I needed to add on 2 'touch up' sessions at the end. I also have a lot of thick dark hair (hairy italian genes). But another area I did I didn't need any more then 6 sessions. And I always saw results after just the first session. I raved about it to all of my friends and they all went and did it too!
