Laser/Hand Calligraphy For Invites

In regards to Laser Printed Calligraphy for my invites (both inner & outter envelopes), I was quoted from the place I am getting my invitations $1.50 per outter envelope and .50cents per inner envelope. Is this price reasonable? Is hand calligraphy better and/or cheaper?

Please let me know where you are getting your invitations addressed and how much they are costing if you don't mind... or FM me. Also, please let me know if you are doing hand calligraphy or laser printed calligraphy.

TIA!!!

Hi! I considered doing laser calligraphy as well but didn't find the price difference to be too much. To me, the idea of laser calligraphy sort of defeated the whole idea -- having the invites hand-addressed, you know It's definitely a good way to have your addresses printed though if you don't have the best home printer. But, like I said, the price for hand vs. laser isn't that different.

I'm using Calligraphy Lady and she charges $3 a set for non-flourish envelopes (which would be most similar to having it done by laser) and $4 a set for flourished envelopes. Here's a sample of flourished.

I used Debi from the Blooming Quill. She is great. I received so many compliments on her work. She is in Wisconsin so you have to mail her your stuff, but she is a little cheaper than NY calligraphers and I just loved her work!

Try Bill from Inkspun.com for laser calligraphy, his prices are lower than the ones you were quoted.
