Today my mom and I are going to buy the Christmas tree! I'm having mixed emotions about this! I don't know whether to be sad or happy that it is my last in my parent's house! Anyone else feeling this way?

i totally feel you. i like to think that i'll come and help my mom do all the fun decorating stuff since she'll be doing it alone next year, but who knows if that will actually happen! i'm glad to see i'm not alone. in the meantime, i am cherishing every moment.

I made my dad go with us. I told him we had to make a memory since it was my last tree shopping with them! My mom keeps telling me I am coming over every day next year to water the tree!
FH and I are going house hunting again today. I'm definitely paying attention to the living rooms today to see how high the ceilings are for a Christmas tree!!
