Last Dance

What is everyone using as a last dance song? I'm sick of the traditional Donna Summer, I was thinking of using 'This is the Night' by Clay Aiken.

Re: Last Dance

'The Last Dance' by Frank Sinatra
I cannot STAND the Donna Summer one..

It‘s the last dance, we‘ve come to the last dance
They‘re dimming the lights down, they‘re hoping we‘ll go
It‘s obvious they‘re aware of us, the pair of us
Alone on the floor
Still I want to hold you like this forever and more
It the last song, they‘re playing the last song
The orchestra‘s yawning, they‘re sleepy I know
They‘re wondering just when will we leave, but till we leave
Keep holding me tight
Through the last dance, each beat of the last dance
And save me the first dance in your dreams tonight

Re: Last Dance

The last dance song is 'Time Of My Life' from Dirty Dancing but the last song of the evening is 'God Bless the U.S.A.'.

Re: Last Dance

My DJ used to put on a Mickey Mouse suit and come out with The Mickey Mouse Club song playing. 'now it's time to say good-bye!'

Re: Last Dance

I was thinking of 'I Hope You Dance' by LeeAnn Womack or 'Time of My Life' or 'Closing Time' but I don't remember who it's by. The one about 'One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer'.
