I went to a wedding where they used 'Never Say Good Bye' by Bon Jovi...Great song!!!!

i HATE all of the classic 'last dance' songs.

We're probbaly going to go with the theme from 'wishes' the (fairly) new Magic Kingdon fireworks show..in the beginning it has a whole little speech from jiminy cricket that says something like 'goodnight and thank you for sharing this night with us and making our magical gathering so special. ..May all your wishes come true'

and the song is about wishes coming true...

'Starlight starbright first star I see tonight
I wish I may I wish I might have the wish i wish tonight.
We'll make a wish and do as dreamers do
and all our wishes will come true'

We're using the ballad version they seing AFTER the fireworks as everyone's leaving the pakr, not the pasrt from the actual fireworks with the character voices, etc..lol..

It's so emotional, when you're leaveing the park after the fireworks, so we decided to play that song, and it has the perfect intro, and of course we want all of our wishes to come true!

we're thinking of When I'm 64 By the Beatles, but I know a lot of people use that for cake cutting.

these suggestions are all great, but my FH was thinking we should go with something kinda upbeat. I do really like 'with a little help from my friends' by joe cocker, but i kinda agree that something more upbeat , but not super cheesy is good.

That is such a great idea! I work at Disney and I didn't even think of it- I even have that CD with the song on it. Let me know if you need it! ha.
