Last Day as BOTW... QOTD 2/1/2014

How far into your relationship did it take for you and your FH to move in together? Or are you waiting til after you are married to do so?

My FH and I right now live in two different states. We are trying to have me move to PA before the wedding bc we share a condo with his brother. Once I move down full time will hopefully be a temp thing until we can find a house that we like.

Hopefully fingers crossed that the job interview I have in PA works out and I can be down there full time by this time next week.

FH and I live at home still for financial reasons. We are saving saving saving now and hopefully in the six months before or after we get married we will be able to buy a home. I'm so against renting and throwing money into something that won't be ours in the end when that money could go into a mortgage. Just have to wait for FH to graduate and get a big boy job :)

We live separately in our parents homes, also for financial reasons and FH just lost his job. We are hoping to move in together before the wedding. There is a strong possibility of us moving to NC within the next year, so we'll see.

We moved in together a little after a year of dating. I moved to New Jersey because of his custody arrangement. Hopefully not too long after we get married, we'll start looking for a house...

Good luck with your interview. We moved in about 4 1/2 years after we met, 3 1/2 after we were engaged. We have been living together for a year now. Wish it had been sooner as money is getting tight and stressing him out. He has been unable to find work in his field as a Biochemist. Hopefully something will come along soon.

Good luck on the interview!! We still live at home for financial reasons. Also our work schedules are so different that even if we did live together we wouldn't be seeing much of each other so we might as well save the $$ while we can. We plan on looking around November for a place to live. If we can afford a house we want, that would be awesome but we are leaning towards renting a place for a year so we could still save some more money and get the house of our dreams :)

We moved in together after 3 years of dating. He was living in Queens and I was living on Long Island and after 3 years of commuting we decided to get a place together. We have been living together now a little over 2 years...best decision we ever made. Nothing like living with your best bud. =)

We will be buying a house about a year after the wedding.

I moved into the apartment at his parents house with him about 4 years ago... We were together for 5 years at the time. We think we will stay here until we are financially ready to buy a house.

We live together now we have an apartment in CT. I was going to school in CT and he was living with his mom, when she moved in with her boyfriend we decided it made more sense for us to live together instead of separate. It was probably after dating around 2 and a half or 3 years. It made it alot easier for us because we were an hour away and only saw each other on weekends, and with school it was hard going back and forth.

I'm pretty jealous of all of you! FH and I don't live together mainly because we are both in graduate school 4 hours apart... But even after we graduate I don't think we will be living together because I grew up in a very Catholic family and my parents are SUPER against living together before we're married!!!!! We are looking for jobs in the DC area so I am really worried that we will both have to get expensive apartments separately. Hopefully we can work something out ;)
