I HATE it. They refuse to do anything else to the dress and the seamstress basically told me there is nothing she can do to make the armpit fat go away (that wasn't there last week) and it's not the dress's fault, it's how my body is. She won't do another thing to change it because 'they're only paying her to do what she already did.' I spent the entire fitting crying while she was nasty to me. I am so upset. I don't even want to pick the dress up next week.

Go to a local tailor... at least you probably wont pay out of your nose... shes doesnt want to do it because she isnt going to get paid... ??? that doesnt mean it cant be done!!!!!!

Oh no Gina!! I am so sorry you're going through this. I can't believe theres nothing they can do!! I had mysterious armpit fat after they altered my dress too. Its so ridiculous. Soo not your fault. I bet you still look soooo stunning in your gown!

I agree with the other girls...go to a local tailor and tell her to go f off. I had alterations done there on a BM dress for my friends wedding and I agree with you, F!

big huge UGH! so sorry you're dealing with this G. totally agree with everyone else - tell them to f off and go to a seamstress. i have a great one in seaford that i bring all my BM dresses too. let me know if you want the info.

I've heard nothing but horror stories about alterations at Paradise -- bring it somewhere else. My dress is from there and I'm nervous about getting it altered there -- I might have another place do it.

I'll call there tomorrow and see if I can pick it up on Friday and bring it somewhere else... I just hate that I have to pay these people for alterations at all. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

Thank you love. I am going to call tomorrow and see what they say. If the manager is as big of a nightmare as she was I am just picking it up and taking it somewhere else. Hopefully they'll give me a new seamstress and make her fix it. I want to LOVE my dress not break down every time I think about it !

This happened to me also. Are you wearing a longline bra? I took it off and it was perfect. I was convinced I had to wear a bra, but I was fine and it looked 100% better without it. Good Luck!

aww gina im sorry. I dont understand y they wont fix it. Usually they fix whateer needs to be done and then charge you no?

Definitely get your dress out of there and take it to someone else, theres no reason why you should be unhappy about your dress on your wedding day.

That's terrible!!! Definitely take it elsewhere. I can't believe that! I will admit, my alterations from there were perfect, but when my mom pointed out one TINY thing to be corrected, the seamstress got kinda nasty. We just and told her to do it anyway.
Did you try speaking to the manager?
ETA: I saw you mentioned you're going to call and speak to the manager today. That's a good idea. My mom asked Patty a simple question and got the manager involved which I thought was unnecessary but the manager was VERY accomodating.
