I'm meeting with an officiant tonight to do our wedding ceremony. FH and I are spiritual with a Christian background. What should we ask her? I am really stumped with this part of the process. Please let me know. Thanks.
We just asked her what her prices where and what that included. Does she do a rehearsal, how long before the ceremony start time does she arrive, does she ever stay for the wedding. She mostly led the meeting, asking us questions about what we value and about ourselves as a couple to get an idea of us, and she made up a ceremony outline, she told us about different readings, told us a book we could look at for readings and vows and such. It was really nice. FH actually got teary eyed talking about the wedding, and then she had us stand up and she demonstrated how we would do the ring blessing and FH started crying.
