LAST MINUTE__I NEED HELP

My mom has a friend who has know my family for a long long time...but they lsot contact...my mom now has run into her at curves often, they got at the same time, and wants to invite her and her husband...

How would we go about doing this?? verbally, verbally and then give an invite, just give her an invite?? Not sure what to do here

I think if you did it verbally and handed her the invite mught be nice...

Verbally and give an invite. Explain why you are inviting them later but emphasize to them that your family would love for them to attend and then send an invitation with the information.
