Anyone know where my mom can get a last minutes MOB dress off the rack? She is a size 24 and the dress she ordered doesn't fit! She lives in AK and will be coming in on July 8th for my July 16th wedding. Any help is appreciated!!!

how come she won't go to a tailor? where did she order that dress from? can't she go back and ask for a bigger size or pick out a different dress?

My mom is not a long island MOB. In Alaska the MOB wears a nice dress but not an elaborate gown. She ordered her dress from the roaman's catalogue and unfortunately all the bigger sizes are backordered till august. Now she won't go to a tailor because quote :'I don't want to be moving my ladies around in front of a stranger!!! ' haha![]()

hmm..if she will be coming here before the wedding, she could try to go to Davids Bridal they have larger off OTR dresses and their plus size section is a pretty decent size!
was the original dress really fancy? does she want another really fancy dress? if not i would try dept stores or lane bryant/catherines or dress barn womens maybe she can find a cocktail dress there.

Jenny-- im 100% positive estelles has some in stock i was there this week with my mom!!!! They have a ton of dresses they just got it!

believe it or not Dressbarn had some really nice dresses. Macys is also good. Does you mom had idea of what style of dress looks nice on her maybe she could try ordering one from macys jcpennys that she could order a couple of dresses in a few sizes and return the store.

Sugar Plum! My mom is also plus size and they have a HUGE selection of reasonably priced, off-the-rack dresses.
