Last minute question

do we tip our Banquet Manager?? He was reallly great for us but i don't know if i should tip him or if he gets commission or waht??

I would assume he is making commission on his bookings. You are only supposed to tip the maitre d and bridal attendant.

I'm not sure I would go with no I think he gets part of the MD tip.

I know I am not because we have had about 3 different ones already.

My BM recently told me that she does NOT get tipped. She said only the Maitre D and bridal attendant

i don't think they get tipped, but i was planning on getting mine a small gift, like a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates.. just something to say thank you.

I think they are supposed to be tipped, but it's a 'whatever amount feels right' kind of deal.

I think their 'tip' is part of the 'administrative fee' A lot of places say they don't have any hidden fees - but there is a pot from what you pay that goes to the whole wait staff banquet manager etc. this is what i was told from one of the people showing me a RH - she said tips are for the maitre'd and bridal attendants....
