Last Minute Rates

Does Anyone know about Fox Hollows 'last minute rates'? Anyone plan a wedding at Fox hollow in a short amount of time? Wondering on Rates/deals. I am planning on having something for September but not sure on pricing. Do you think I am in way over my head for September? Advice needed : /

Re: Last Minute Rates

My wedding is in Sept, and I've had 2 years to plan and still want to vomit that it's only 4 months away. However, if you are the type of person that can get things done and don't plan on having lots of extras and DIYs that take time to do and aren't set on certain vendors who might already be booked then I think you could totally pull it off. You just need to be super organized and on the ball.
You will also probably get great pricing since you are book last minute.

I responded on the Fox Hollow thread but it's TOTALLY possible.....and you'll get amazing rates! Lots of people plan a wedding in under 6 months, there was even a Bride on here who had a beautiful wedding planned in 2 or 3 months. Go for it! I'll try to find the review.

i think if you dont have your heart set on certain vendors and arent that picky then yes you could def do it!

I think it's totally do-able if you have a lot of free time to plan. The hardest part will be finding vendors still available on your date (unless you plan on getting married mid-week). Also, you will be limited on the wedding gown you can order b/c many take longer than 4 months to get in.

I meant to add - What's the rush? Enjoy being engaged! I love the planning process, and like that I don't have to feel rushed to make any decisions.

Def do it! You still have plenty of time and the best is that you dont have so many choices, that way the decision is much more easier!

Dont worry about the vendors, You still have time!

4 months is plenty of time to plan a wedding. We got engaged in January and basically have done everything in about 5 months. (Although we've still got 2 months to go...)

We're all here to help! Let me know if there's anything else you need.

I agree. I got engaged in December and in March was going to the CH for next year and got better prices this year so October it is. We just booked our venors last week and only have limos left...so its totally do-able. LIW is a great resource. I amplanning from out of state and it has helped me alot.. Good Luck!!!

I have to come back to add that if I could do it all over again, I would have taken the June wedding date and saved lots of cash and been married sooner.

I have everything done already and am now just sitting around....and I started planning in late Sept. We're here to help!

You can definitely do it! FH and I got engaged in the beginning of February and we are getting married in September. Also, we are planning long distance because I moved to Orlando. Sometimes it works out better because you dont have as much time to go back and forth on certain things and for someone like me, I need that. If I had 2 years to a plan a wedding I would change my mind 10 times on ideas.

Also, you should definitely get great rates. It all depends on what night you want to get married. My family and I were set on a Sat night and luckily we were able to get that, but honestly a lot of the Sat nights were not available. You may want to try Labor Day weekend...I remember a ton of places having Sat the 5th available.

Get workin' girl!
