Last name???

people can use it against you..
example, i posted something once venting about something, someone read it, realized who i was (bc of my last name) told someone who knew what I was talking about (mind you when i was venting i didnt mention names or any identifying info) and they flipped a $hit on me for something that i meant no harm with...
so just be warned what personal info you put up on this site, and what you say...alot of people lurk on these boards who arent registered users (and if they are registered they just read what we write and dont post...) and you never know who will personally know you...

I've also heard of people calling up someone's vendors and cancelling or something (since they know their date and name and everything). Don't know how true this is, but why risk it?

lol no...if they were being a total bridezilla and total board 'witch' then in a perfect world it would be the right thing to do...

in reality imagine how bad the other girl had to feel for having her stuff cancelled that she worked so hard on....just because someone else had the same date and wanted to haev the same vendor...

It makes me nervous because wouldn't vendors be a bit weary if someone called out of nowhere and said 'I'm Jane Doe. My fiance, John Smith and I would like to cancel our weding for May 12, 2008. Thanks. bye'

I was actually afraid of this and I told my Banquet Manager, she said that they will not cancel my wedding unless I come in an personally cancel it...whew

I think you have to FM member services and tell them that you want to change your screenname and they will tell you how to do it
