Last name - to hyphenate or not?

Last name - to hyphenate or not?

I want to take FH's last name, but I don't want to lose my own name, nor change all of my documents (passport, license, ss, etc.) Is it better to hyphenate our last names or to just add his last name behind mine? Will I be required to change my documents?

I think if you hyphenate you'll have to change ur documents anyway. I'm taking my FH last name. I know how you feel. I'll miss my last name as well.
