Last night was...

...our first night in our new house!!! FH is completely moved in and I'll be officially 100% moved in by next week!!! We've been doing so much cleaning, painting, etc. I'll post pics as soon as I get the chance!

Thanks guys...as much as it was exciting, I have to admit I was a little scared (yea I'm such a baby) I've only slept on the 2nd floor of a house my whole life (in both mine and FH's houses) so now that we live in a ranch we have no choice but to sleep on the first floor and it doesn't seem like 'ours' yet lol!!!! We're not 100% settled in but enough to sleep there!

Oh i remember that feeling...i moved about 2-3 years ago and it was SOOOOO weird at first, just like you said it didnt feel like it was your home yet. Well like everyone else can tell you that awkward feeling goes away and then it will feel just like home...takes a few weeks but youll get there

It's so funny that you said that because after 2 and a half years on my own out of my parents house, I never know how to refer to it... my house or my parents house...

Yes dont worry you will get that 'AHHH THIS IS HOME' feeling...will take a few weeks to a month but you'll get there...Yeah i know what you mean about that too, my dad still lived in the house i grew up in most of my life and it was weird when i would go there, i was sad about leaving it and wasnt comfortable yet in my new house but then when iwent back to the old house it was different ...now everything is all good, and Oooo i get to move soon again and go through all of this again
