Last Night's Game v. Orioles
DH, Mom, and I were there at Camden Yards. It was all of our first time at a Yankee game outside of Yankee Stadium. TRIPPY.
However, we were surrounded by a LOT of Yankee Fans. We were seated right behind Matsui - GREAT seats for like $30 each! Try that in NY! Oh, and the refreshments were less, and parking was less so that all was great.
There were a few fights breaking out in the stands around us and people were ejected. At one point while the Yanks were getting their behinds handed to them, I got up to get peanuts and when I came back I had to walk where a couple of O's fans were roughing up a Yankee fan. In my Yankee hat, I was a little scared, so I asked one of the bullies if I could get by safely, and they let me.
The second of the two back to back homers (THANKS, PAVANO, YOU @SS!!!!!) was hit a few rows in front of where we were sitting.
I think I amused the Orioles fans in front of me, however, when in the 9th inning I shouted, 'Come On, guys, we only need Eight more runs!!!!'
Finally, I'll state that I find it rather disturbing that when they play 'We Will Rock You,' it is an excuse to start a 'Yankees Suck' Chant.
