Being that I'm 38 I thought the marriage thing passed me by and I was doomed to being a spinster!!! But FH swooped down and saved me from lonelyville!!!!!

I knew i wanted to marry FH from our first date and my mom even said she knew i was going to marry him! I was only 20 when we first started dating so i never really thought i wouldn't get married even if it wasnt to FH.

As for the question- when I was younger, I always had different boyfriends and loved to have fun- it was my priority so no, I didn't think I was getting married.

i always wanted to get married, but never imagined that it would be to the person i am marrying! i actually knew him from elementary school- we rode the bus together and in high school but we weren't friends at all... it's just funny how things work out!

As for the QOTD.... growing up I always said that I never wanted to get married, I wanted to be a career woman. Once I got the career I realized that I can still have a great marriage and family and met FH and it all fell into place

also, my major priority was finishing school first and i loved going out with my friends so i guess i never really thought about it. but when i met fh, my feelings completely changed and couldnt wait lol.

Congrats to the new BOTW!
I never really put any thought into getting married. Even when we got engaged last year I had no idea that we'd end up doing a full-fledged wedding (we only wanted to host an intimate dinner). NOW I can't imagine not having the big wedding

I always knew I would get married. At one time I even thought I knew who I was going to marry. But that didn't happen. And thankfully so because along came FH! I loved him from our first date. We've been through a whole lot together and it's just perfect that we are getting married soon!

aww! for the longest time, i never thought i would. this was before i met FH. i thought that i was sorta destined for a life of solitude. not that i walked around like a loney, sad sap...but i just figured there was no guy. that this was as good as it got. and i stopped looking....
and then this gorgeous firefighter (at the time)... saw me, asked me out, kissed me on the first date...and i just flew to the moon...
not only did i never think i'd be getting married, but i never thought it'd be to a hot guy that loved me to pieces. i'm so lucky. aww, now i'm tearing up (in a good way) great QOTD!
and congrats 9509bride!! (ps- Jem is truly outrageous!!)

Great Question....
Did I ever think I would get married? Hummm... IDK This will sound so corny but it was NOT until I met FH that I began to think about marriage. I dated and broke up with guys, got over it and kept it moving. When FH and I first dated and broke up I was DEVASTATED! literally, I cant explain it but I knew he was the man I was meant to be with. I let him go and he came back just like the old saying goes. Not only did the time apart strengthen our relationship, but it made us BOTH realize we never wanted to be apart again.
So yes, in a way I knew I would get married but only once I met my Mr. Right.

yes and no. In my early 20's I was convinced that I was going to marry my ex-fiance. Then we got engaged, and I called it off because it felt wrong.
Then I met my ex-boyfriend when I was 27. He had been married before and told me he was never going to get married again and I was ok with that for about 8 years. Then I decided I did want to get married and if he didn't we'd have to break up. So we broke up.
Then I basically just dated around and was happy as a clam. I never thought I would meet someone I would love enough to get married. I had reached the age where I no longer was willing to 'settle' just to be married. I was working on making my life perfect for just me. Then I met FH and I was swept off my feet!

I actually didn't think it was in the cards for me. It's funny how things turn out. I never had boyfriends in middle school and high school, and I went through some really rough dating experiences my first year of college, to the point where I was like eff it I'm just not going to try anymore. Then I met FH my sophomore year, and just knew that we would be married, because I just couldn't see myself with anyone else. I was scared to death he didn't feel the same way, but luckily, he did.
