What do you need besides a termite inspection?

home inspection by an engineer or inspection company - to check the structure of the house, the systems, electrical, etc. - usually costs around $400-$500

So, termite inspection and the general home inspection. Anything else? does the same person do both these things or do you have to hire separate inspectors?

it is recommeded, and usual, that two different companies do the termite and the inspection.....but you can probably find a company that does both

you want a termite expert to do the termite inspection

We had the same company do both.

We also had an oil tank test to make sure it was not leaking. That was another $200. We have an underground tank so we wanted to be sure it was ok. Good luck!
