Good reviews or nay? I'm curious...I was not blessed in the eyelash department and want falsies FOREVER....I loved my wedding lashes!

i thought this was kind of interesting.. but i don't like some of the side effects they mentioned about possibly discoloring your eyelids and some other weird thing???

Yeah, I think it also said it can cause increased brown pigmentation in your eyes… so if you have light colored eyes I’d be worried about that. (not that there’s anything wrong with brown eyes – just don’t know if I’d want to have multi-colored ones. )

Good to know, I have blue eyes! Also, my friend emailed me and told me she knows someone who started sprouting hair on their face! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Lastisse?
I am a HUGE fan!! I've been using it since June. I will take some pictures when I get home tonight. I hope FH didn't delete my 'before' pictures.
The results are truly amazing. When I went for my makeup trial she asked if I wanted false lashes and when said yes she said 'you already have such beautiful lashes - you're lucky'
The side effect about your eyes turning brown *MIGHT* happen if you get the liquid in your eyes. My eyes are a light hazel and I haven't noticed any difference.
The only complaint I have is that it's super expensive (about $90 a bottle) and it's not covered by insurance. One bottle lasts me longer than a month though. I've been on it since June and I just started my 3rd bottle.
I it!!!

Re: Lastisse?
mine were disgusting - shorty sparse and stubby. The change has been absolutely dramatic!!! I will post pictures tonight when I get home. Really - believe all the hype! I was doubtful and am now a convert. It's actually gotten to the point, where I can go without mascara! Just curl them and go.

Re: Lastisse?
ok - I couldn't wait to get home and take pictures of my new eyelashes.
Please excuse the poor 'before' picture - FH deleted the really good ones off the camera - this one was from a cell phone:
Now for the after - Please excuse the wrinkles and the bags under my eyes - it was a rough day at work and I am 41 Also, I did a real quick swipe with the makeup remover pads and didn't do such a great job of getting all my makeup off.
But here we are - I started the Latisse on May 29
They are definitely fuller, longer and darker.
Now for a scary up-close eyeball picture:
I love using it and am planning on going into 'maintenance' while on my HM.

Re: Lastisse?
They definitely hold a curl and are darker and fuller. It's really a wonder drug.
Like I said it's expensive and I don't know if I will continue doing it forever but it's going to be so nice to know that I don't have to put on mascara every day!

None at all. The way my eye dr explained it to me is that in order to have darkening of the iris, you have to actually put the drops in your eyes. They don't go there. You put a drop on the brush and swipe it across your top lid (like putting on eyeliner) - one drop on each eye with a clean brush every night right before you go to bed. You don't do your bottom lashes - they get the effects of it because you then close your eyes and go to sleep.
Also, about the eye color change, you can see my eyes are actually hazel with a LOT of green in them - they tend to photograph more brown but in person are lighter. If anything, people tell me my eyes look more green now. I think it's because my lashes are darker and longer and make my eyes stand out more.
The only side effect I've had is a lightening of the wallet since it's so expensive. I think it's totally worth it though.
