Lat Nights' WWE RAW!!! HOLY COW
All I can say is WOW.....first off, we were 10 rows from the ring...and in the first tier, so we were elevated and not on the floor! Prime seats near the back corner of the ring, so the cameras were facing the other way. not bad for $42!!! Free parking, small venue...perfect!
Awesome matches....dark matches were nothing exciting. Huge pops for Benoit, Bautista (WOW...compare to Rock pops in the past), HBK.
LOTS of 'LITA' and 'You screwed Matt' chants when Edge came out (some may know that Edge is the reason Matt and Lita have broken up.....I'm truly heartbroken).
AWESOME pops for Jake The Snake. What a surprise for us to see him....we missed half of last weeks' RAW when we went to sleep. Did not know about the Lita/Christy Hemme pairing.
Also....Snitsky did not 'finish' off what he started with Lita....or at least that we saw. Kane got big pops when he interfered with the Snitsky match.
Not sure what time the show ended on tv...but it went till 11:30 with an AWESOME tag team match of HBK/Bautista vs. Triple H and Edge. HOLY COW.....major booing and pops all around. First in the ring was HBK vs Edge...edge points to HHH and pops, tags him in, HBK points to Bautista, POPS, tags him in...HHH immediately tags out. HBK gets on top rope, starts mimicking a chicken! CHICKEN SH!T rants start. I had double my pleasure (I love HBK). Flair interferes, Jake the Snake comes out and chases him away with the live 12 ft snake. Jake stays at ringside. AFter HHH is counted out....Jake put the snake on top of him. HBK and Bautista do their thing, HBK tunes up, HHH gets up, goes to side rope, Jake brings the snake over and shoves it in his face...freaks him out, HHH turns around, SWEET CHIN MUSIC....HUGE POPS.
