Late Aug/September Brides

Have you ordered your invitations yet? I still have not even gone looking..i'm starting to freak out! What is everyone up to?

I ordered mine at the end of March and came in in 4-5 days. They're sitting here and we'll be mailing them out in June sometime.

Thats what i thought but everyone is so ahead of the game I thought i was behind. I've spoken to a few places and they said i have time. I heard they are supposed to go out exactly 2 months before. I am waiting until July to send them out I dont want to send them out early.

Not yet. His parents and my parents refuse to pick up the phone and discuss HOW MANY PEOPLE will be invited..I can't believe this **** is going on so long.

I ordered them already but I am waiting for the reception cards to come in. I'll be sending them out last week in July, two months before the response date.

I know I posted already, but our RH told us they needed a flat number by the start of September in order to know how much food to order and then we give the final number 3 days before the wedding. Our RSVP cards have to be in a month before the wedding and this will give the guests enough time to reserve the hotel room b/c most are from OOT and the hotel said they will end the blocking of rooms after August 16, so we wanted to get everything out by mid-June to get everything done in time and give ourselves breathing room.
