Latest Dance Lesson

My Dad and I went today for our weekly dance lesson with John of Ballroom dancing. Up until now my Dad has been fine, playful etc. All of a sudden today during a slow dance he starts to lose it and became so emotional he started to cry. He said it hit him at that moment that I was getting married and moving away. Of course I started to cry and my Mom who had come with us today for the first time starts to cry too.

John was a sweetheart and grabbed the box of kleenex and kind of walked us through the moment.

My Mom later told me I better stuff my bra with tissue on my wedding day because my Dad was going to truly fall apart.

I can't even think about dancing with my father at my wedding. I cry every time.

I'm the youngest of four girls, and he'll always be 'my daddy'.
