Re: LATIN BRIDES
I am Boricua and I want to look at Elegencia. How much Latin music you want played at the reception though? I am looking to have 20 percent Spanish music and the rest English.
I am not familiar with Sonido. Good luck!!

Re: LATIN BRIDES
Mt friend had Elgancia Entertainment and she loved the work that they did. I'm going to check them out as well.
I need someone that can cater to my side (mostly Latino) and the FH's side (all caucasian).

Re: LATIN BRIDES
Elegancia is excellent is just that the other one is a tiny bit more economical... I was thinking about 35% Spanish music,, but I also want a bilingual MC... Which both companies have it...

Re: LATIN BRIDES
I visited Sonido Con Clase on Friday. I agree with you 100% regarding Presentation. I was not impress. I know they have a good reputation and they have celebrity client as well. I felt that person I dealt with was a little unorganized and did not know how sell his service. But I must say they had great packages. I am going with FEEL THE VIBE Entertainment FM if you want details. They are great with Latin Weddings and maybe a little more economical then Elegancia

Re: LATIN BRIDES
Is Sonido Con Clase based out of brooklyn? Are they Puerto Rican and Guyanese? because I think I was in a wedding where they were the DJ. Pre-wedding the DJ I'm thinking of was disorganized but the day of the wedding they were great.

Re: LATIN BRIDES
I actually went and saw both djs. I have read reviews here about eleganica and everyone seems to love them. I also preferred eleganica over sonido because of their presentation. When I was meeting with sonido, not only did he make me wait over 35 minutes for our appointment but he kept answering calls throughout our meeting so me & FH were both disappointed. With that being said I don't know how they would do in an actual wedding.
Good luck with your decision especially since you have to make one so soon!!
Let us know how it goes either way!!!

I meet with Elegancia and wasn't impressed with there presentation. I booked with Feel the Vibe they are great I signed with them the same day. Here's there number 516-486-8423. There are spanish dj's and great. Give them a call tell them Emily sent you and her wedding is May 24 this year. Check them out before you make your choice, and let me know how it went.

Re: LATIN BRIDES
I met with Jose from Elegancia and thought they were awesome. We loved the presentation, especially the light show. I didn't meet with Sonido, so I can't help you there.
I'm Irish and my FH is Puerto Rican...about 90% of our guests will be Puerto Rican or Dominican. We decided to book with FM Entertainment. Their prices are excellent. My FH only wants about 20% of the music to be Spanish. We are using Frank although he isn't Spanish we asked him to play a bit of Spanish music at our showcase and were happy with it. Plus we plan to give him a must play list with some of our requested Spanish music.

I met with Frank as well.. he was a sweetheart.. but the spanish MC that was suppose to be there that day didnt show up or didnt even call.. so that threw me off a lil bit,, but they are really reasonable.... FH was leaning towards them,, but I'm like they dont have a spanish MC ,,,

Re: LATIN BRIDES
I'm using Frank for a DJ/MC one man. I don't really need a Spanish MC. We don't plan to do anything bilingual. That's not cool that he didn't show up. I could definately understand you being turned off by that.
