Paging all brides who have used a Spanish DJ or those who know about prices.

I was quoted $800 for a DJ that DJ's at nightclub we frequent. He will include 4 hours, a light show, an MC, dancing on the cloud thing, and all props (my family loves this). Is this a good price and if not, does anyone know of another good DJ. He needs to specialize in Spanish music but be able to play a wide variety of other stuff. THANKS!!!!!!

He said he was charging us this because my FI is his friend but I wanted to comapre before I went with it to see if he was telling the truth. WOW!!!! 2500, I think I would faint.

Do you think he would do someone else's wedding?
I am interested. My mom knows someone but I kind of need a back up plan just in case he doesn't come through.

I am paying close to $2,000 for my DJ. He will play mostly spanish music and mix in some other stuff.

I'm having a band and a dj just because I know that the band doesn't specialize in spanish music.. well other than the commercial hits, like Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin lol
