y enderece por la senda
con mi baggage de sueños

Aunque yo estoy muy lejos
del pago donde he nacido
le juro mi mama vieja
que yo de usted no me olvido

Yo se por las noches
desde una estrella me mira
y usted se fue para el cielo

Mama vieja yo le canto desde aqui
esta zamba que una vez le prometi
zamba y de ser la primera
pa' que se acuerde de mi
