I've been writing a 20 page paper for grad school all week and feel really 'out of the loop' so I just popped onto Google News to see what's going on the world. There's a story about the Duke rape case, and next to it is a picture of the district attorney involved. There's a story about the death of Kurt Vonnegut, and next to it is a picture of Kurt Vonnegut. And near the bottom, there is an article entitled 'Drug Resistant Gonorrhea Spreading Rapidly Through U.S.'... and next to it is a picture of Paris Hilton.

I know! I just went back to do that and it's changed already - I bet some intern put it there for five minutes just as a goof. But I saw it, and it really brightened up my afternoon!
Even better than that, though - my paper is done! Whoooppppeeee! It's due tonight at 7:30.

i have been really into CNN and MSNBC lately..and that duke case is finalyl over..thank god
and kurt..dear kurt..i read all his books and love him a lot..
