Best day off ever. I got all the stuff up in the attic (by myself thank you very much!), and we walked to the ferry- spent 3 hours just hanging out, talking and walking- soooo romantic. Then we watched Blood Diamonds- it was good. First TV in 3 weeks.

Also, thank you for the compliments, Vic! Plus, I don't think I need the mat now- I found 2 when packing. And I simultaneously lost all ambition. I still very much want to do the mosaic thing. I may have a BBQ- what is everyone doing this weekend?

Your ambition is awe inspiring. No TV during May Sweeps! I bet you got more done in the last three weeks than me and DH have gotten done in our 5 months as home owners. I blame DH. I painted the last three rooms that were painted all by my lonesome.

Can you beleive I actually LOVE painting? So much more than the other stuff that was needed. We had to do stuff- that's probably the ambition explanation. the house was uininhabitable 3 weeks ago.

I am a very slow painter. I like when I am done painting and I can bask in the transformation.
PS - Love the sand/firepit area. Firepit is definitely on our To Buy list. It was relegated to next summer though
