Can someone tell me what constitutes:

Slander
Defermation of character and/ or proffessional reputation
Liable

Defamation:
1. defamatory language on the part of the defendant
2. the defamatory statement must be 'of or concering the plaintiff' meaning a reasonable person would know the statement was about the plaintiff
3. publication of the defamatory language by the defendant to a 3rd person
4. damage to plaintiffs reputation
5. the defamatory language must be false
6. the defendant is at fault.

Slander is ORAL defamation
Libel is WRITTEN defamation
