Lawyer Fees
What is an average amount to spend?
We are looking at a few co-ops right now and the lawyer said his fee is $750. Just wondering if this is a normal/fair price.

Keep in mind Lawyers usually charge different for a co-op and a house closing.
My lawyer is $850 for a co-op and $1000 for a house.

I think mine was $800...but it was paid for by the SONYMA loan we got - they took care of all of the closing costs, including the lawyer's fees...

The same lawyer charges $950 for houses... so the rate he charges is fairly normal.
