Hi We are contacting a potential lawyer today. How much are typical lawyer fees from contract until closing? Are the lawyer's total fees due at closing or do you pay the lawyer part at contract and part at closing?

our attorney charges $800. the fee varies greatly. 1 attorney i called charges $1500. fees are due at closing (at least our are).

I am paying close to $1000 and they must be do at closing as I am in contract and have given the lawyers no $$ as of yet

my boss charges between 750-1000 depending on how much work it entails and u pay it at the closing
