Does anyone know of a lawyer (preferably in Eastern Suffolk) that does step-parent adoptions. Also, does anyone have any experience with this process? TIA!

I know that the bio parent has to give up his parental rights, unless he is deceased. If you don't know where he is (or she, if it is the mother) than you have to do research about their last known addresses, put ads in papers to locate them. I know that there are attorneys on this site. I hope one of them can help you.
