Can anyone tell me where I can find (online for free) statutes. I needa copy of some specific stautes from a couple of differnt states. Thanks in advance for your help.

a few things you can do -
go to findlaw.com and you may get some stuff
but what I often do is go to each state's official secretary of state website (by a google search) and most of the time there are links to the statutes
the problem is that since westlaw and lexis have some publishing rights and you have to pay to join, they somehow discourage the statutes from being available for free
