Layla got spaded on wednesday!!!!!

i am soooo sad for her... she is so not herself, she startwed to chewing on her toys again this am... but she as sooo tired that last few days.... i feel soo guilty for dong this to her... she has trouble going up and down the front stoops, and we have to help her come up and down off the couch!! i feel so bad...

i hope she recovers quickly!!

but just know you did the right thing! when charlotte got spayed, we heard the same old thing, don't let her get excited or jump...well, try telling a puppy who looooooves her family and goes bonkers when she sees someone, NOT to jump or get excited. she jumped around as if the stitches were not there and actually lost a stitch, which got infected and she needed antibiotics. but she was back to herself in no time. so will layla. my grandparents never got their male or females shepherds spayed/neutered and now when the female goes into heat , it is the biggest PITA to keep them seperated and the poor girl is soooo not herself when she has her period and my grandmother refuses to do it now, it is so annoying. but you did the right thing!

thanks so much... right she's barking her head off at my neighbors... she hasnt really barked since we got her home...

it is sooo hard to try and stop her from jumping and playing... she is freakin puppy....
