The price of roses goes up 400% in February.
Carnations woul be the cheapest flowers.
What is your theme? I have heard tons of things used as CP's, pumpkins, apples, mirors and candles, rose petals. GL!

Re: Least expensive flower?
I actually really like carnations, am I crazy? I know that a lot of people aren't thrilled with them, but they are one of my favorite flowers. Does anyone have pictures of carnations used at weddings? Did anyone use them?
ETA: To answer the post above: I don't really have a theme. But the BM dresses will be wine.

I can't believe I'm saying this... but.... carnations... those are the cheapest and are around pretty much any time and then you can fill in with a lot of other stuff... greens (evergreen, leaves, holly, etc)

Re: Least expensive flower?
i got married the same date as you're having in '08...
i didn't do centerpieces, but i had roses, hydrangea, flox, evergreens, etc. in my bouquet... it was mainly roses. pics are in my review.
valentine's day is over by then so you'll be fine...especially if you don't want red roses. u used cream and lavender roses
