Hahaha. At school they're doing this play which will be a compilation of parts of Williams plays and writing. One of the parts i got was Flora in 27 Wagons full of cotton. My husband beats me and I REALLY like it. There are some violent/sexual scenes. AHHH..
Leave it to me, right?
Update:
I'm so sad. Because of the structure of the play (it's going to be lots of scenes form many plays interspersed and out of order, etc), 27 wagons may get cut completely because the emotional impact would be lost if it's not done in order, or if it's broken up. So most likely 27 wagons is cut, and so is my most major role...I'm disappointed but it should still be a great show

I'm so excited about that part particularly. We're doing scenes from a lot of different plays and I'm in afew of them, but I'm so excited about 27 Wagons, especially since we're doing basically all of it, just slightly condensed. I'd be really nervous about the S&M aspects, but the guy who is playing Jake is a good friend of mine and we've acted together before and we're very physically comfortable with each other.
I'm also playing Vee in a scene from Opheous Descending and Big Mama in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
I also have another small role and they'll be adding more as this takes more shape. but i'm SO excited about playing Flora...
Also, as Flora and as Vee, someone has to grab my ginormous heaving bosom..ROFL....The guys are gonna love this....
It's October 19-22. Let me know if you want tixx. Shows are at 8pm with a matinee on the 22nd at 2pm
Also, I'm co-directing Lips Together Teeth Apart in December

Oh god no...Not nekkid. There's no sex scene per se, but there's a lot of sexual stuff that goes on. Overtly it's violent, but to these characters it's sexual. I'm really excited about the challenge...I just don't know if I can invite my mom to this one.

That is always weird. I thought I was going to die the first time my parents were in the audience and I had to role allover the place in a teddy with some guy. Awkward, but I am sure that your mom will want to be there to support you.

I think Nicole is coming Saturday night! Sat night sells out the quickest so let me know and I will reserve tickets. They're free, but I do have to reserve them. It's a very small house so..let me know. I'm so excited! I hope you can comeA! It should be great, especially if you love Williams..or if you just want to see me get slapped around.

It's especially awkaward because
1) my mom is religious 2) it's a 44 seat house...everything is VERY up close and personal
