Someone posted that they threw leaves at their fall wedding. I love that idea. Does anyone know where I would order the leaves from? would the florist have it?

What a great idea. I'd love to know the answer to that one too.

Re: Leaves Please
I saw the picture too and it looked so nice. I am just wondering if they are real leaves, b/c they were so colorful.

Re: Leaves Please
I was going to do that also! It sounds like such a cute idea. When I was in Michael's in Nov (after halloween and around thanksgiving) they had bags of leaves. You could try there or one of the other craft stores.

Re: Leaves Please
maybe you can make silk leaves like silk petals and cut them out of silk/poly fabric? differnt colors, shapes and sizes?

Re: Leaves Please
It was me I bought the leaves at Walmart and CVS and so many other places. We combined them all and just put them in a basket and had everyone take a handful
Patchogue Floral has them too on a strand and I just took them off the strand
Thank you - are the leaves real? I guess they are only sold in the fall?

Re: Leaves Please
Check ebay. Someone is selling leaves now.. I always check on there to see what I can get I bought leaves to spread on the tables from Walmart, but if you get married in a church, check with them. I wanted to do the leaf throw too, and my church wasn't too keen on the idea.

Re: Leaves Please
there was a wholesale flower company online who had them, unfortunately I don't have my planner bible, can you believe it?
They were $14 a bag...I think.
I will post ASAP

That picture is gorgeous! If my wedding is in the second week of September, could I take advantage of the fall foliage or is it too early?
go for it!!!!

Re: Leaves Please
I am going to have the leaves down the aisle at the church. So I guess I'll look in Michaels, AC Morre, etc.
I think it looks so cute to throw them outside the chrch as well!

Re: Leaves Please
I bought silk leaves from Michaels for cheap (but it was a very small bag). They came in a variety of sizes and fall colors.

Re: Leaves Please
I also had the church aisle lined with leaves They were fake leaves. I had both preserved and fake and I did a test and the fake leaves flew better. I found them before the fall. But I loaded up on them closer to the wedding when they started going on clearence I don't know if you can see them in this pic. I will try and find a better one
