I heard that it was beautiful there - enjoy!! We stayed at the Hyatt and had a wonderful time - the weather was great- it rained only for an hour one afternoon. Have a great time

hey! - we were just in aruba for our honeymoon a few weeks ago - you're going to love it!! the Radisson is fabulously tropical and relaxing - there are parrotts, a few pools, bars, etc. and the water is gorgeous. have an awesome time!! we did a few things that i'll reccommend:

- sunset catamaran open bar and snack cruise (1.5 hour cruise) by Red Sail Sports
- 4 hour catamaran snorkel cruise - open bar and snacks also, to two snorkel sights (the sunken ship and the shallower reefs)
- ATV 4 wheelers - a 4 hour tour around the island, to the old gold mine, the natural bridge that is now the natural bridge 'ruins' since it collapsed, the natural pool - they were all really tough to get to, up and down cliffs pretty much on these atv's and it's scary!! you're definitely risking tipping or something, but it was an awesome rush...
- the casinos!! my new husband:) and i are addicted to roullette, it's so fun!
- El Gaucho, Flying Fishbone and Ruinas del Mar (at the hyatt) are the restaurants we went to. we LOVED El Gaucho and the others were really good also. flying fishbone had great location, but makes sense to go during sunset or you kind of miss the view. Ruinas del Mar is pretty romantic and food was tasty but not as good as El Gaucho!! the Argentinian beef there is the best meat i've ever had...and i've eaten at just about every steakhouse in NY.
- all kinds of watersports are at your fingertips! jet skiing, being pulled around on anything your heart desires by a speedboat haha, and we couldn't do parasailing since they only let 2 people go up together if you add up to 260 lbs. or less...something like that, but we weren't close.
- we rented a car one day and went to baby beach - beautiful water, but a not so nice view of an oil refinery off to the right in the distance...also went to the lighthouse, and since you'r efrom LI you've seen nicer ones, but it was a cool thing to visit since you can kind of look out on the island from there.
