Ledge/Shelves

Please post pics of your ledges or shelves that you have in the house. We are redoing our bedroom and I am thinking about staggering two on each side of the wall we put the amoire on.

Something like this but only two:

or maybe something like this?:

I can't wait to see what people post...Claud just posted recently...

But I think we are going to put accent shelves...I just don't know what color and where!!!

At the end of my entrance hall I planned on doing a console table with 2 modular shelves above....the shelves are in the picture below but I was just doing 2 and straight across - kind of connected (in the summer Pottery Barn Catalog..)..but I ordered the shelves and the table that was paired with in the catalog (I even double checked with Customer service and a sales girl that they will match..) and of course they don't match at all!!! I am now told they do not have a console table that matches these shelves - even though online and in 2 summer catalogs they have it paired with different tables....I am so annoyed at them! Why pair it if the don't match...the tables are nothing like the color in the catalog! Plus both the sales girl and Customer Service told me they only will pair things if they match - so not true...

So now I am looking for new ideas..I hope we get some good pictues...Anyone do anything besides ledges - looking for something different....

We just hung some shelves a few weeks ago...and staggered them on each wall in the corner of our den.
