Im a lefty but i cut with scissors with my right only.
I dont know if thats considered ambidextrous...isnt that when you can write with either and cut with either ?

All of my siblings were also 'born' lefties, and my parents tried to change all of us, and it didnt work with me
Back then it was BAD BAD to be a lefty. My grandmother would tell me I was going to get kicked out of school because I wrote with my left hand ! Isnt that silly ??? I think its horrible that they changed my siblings from what they were meant to 'be'...I heard alot of people did this back in the 70's..... It wasnt 'proper' to be a lefty !

I can do something none of my sibs can do. I can write backwards the way Leonardo did. I used to do this for fun in school, and my friends would ask me to write them letters backwards (mirror writing) and years later I found out Leonardo DaVinci did this, lol.

Anna: all lefties have to cut w/ the right hand otherwise the stupid scissors don't work.... but once my mom bought me a pair of 'lefty' scissors - I was in the 2nd grade so this was very cool for me!! She's lefty too... my grandfather had to go to school with her and tell the nuns not to try and change her to a righty!!

I'm lefty, but I can throw & cut w/both. But, I have to use the mouse w/my right hand.

He's a righty all the way. He's excited because he said it gives him hope of having a lefty son (for pitching reasons) lol

erox, i've known many lefties that cut with the left, they just make sure to have a lefty scissor always!! I never felt comf w the lefty scissor. one girl i worked w, even had a lefty mouse for her pc, i have to use the right on that too !

DH and I are both lefties...we are placing bets now to see what our son will be.

DH is a lefty 'purist.' I am not. I write lefty, but use scissors righty. I bat lefty, but throw righty. I use a steak knife in my right hand (DH has to switch hands constantly during a meal).
I can mouse lefty or righty w/o a problem.
