Just wondering...I know apartments in Lindenhurst are legal, but does the town want them. How hard is it to let the town allow you to have an apartment. We found a house we really love that has the potential for one. It's south of sunrise and in the village section.
TIA! Kathleen

I'm don't have the answer but I think I would call a few of the ads in the paper for apts in Lindenhurst and ask these people if it was hard to get the permit.

I have heard it is difficult to get the permits for an apartment but on the bright side it will be an extra income for you but check to see how much your taxes will go up that is where they hit you.
FYI: There is no way to make a basement a legal apartment in the Town of Babylon.
