ok so what did everyone think of the 'LEGEND BALL' last night... i heard some mixed review on the radio this morning about a comment that was made.... the comment was something oprah said towards the end... something about 'the white people are probably asking them selves whats going on' ... dont quote me on that girls i dont remember word for word what she said.. but the conversation was on WBLI this morning ... on eof the girls from the morning show on there got offended by what oprah said..

i saw 90% of it, what comment?? i didn't catch anything that seemed out of line-- well, lol-- the whole thing seemed a bit much and a little ridiculous but what can you do? lol
there's no doubt all of those people are amazing women etc etc but to go on and on like that-- a bit much JMO. lol
but what comment??
i just watched and was happy to see oprah's house-- SOOO pretty!!!!!

I thought it was an excellent show. Hands down. I felt that those indviduals should be honored as lengends in that way. I don't know what coment was made, but I hope it wasn't out of line. Each, and everyone of those individuals that took part in that event should have been honored, and given the limelight as they did last night. I can only imagine the energy, and vibe that was in her home. I only wish I could have been apart of it

I too thought it was an amazing show just to celebrate how amazing people can be... I thought that Oprah was so thoughtful in thinking of doing something like that.
Just because it was honoring strong black woman I don't think that there is anything wrong with WHITE people understanding it... Thats just stupid. That was entriely what the whole show was about how these woman overcame everything that was going on in the time that they were living and are who they are today...
I thought it was an amazing show and so thoughtful of Oprah...

It was great! I think it was fantastic how she took time out to honor people that means something to her and the community. There was nothing deragotory about her comment. She just wanted to share a special momment.

I just watched it on my TiVo and I don't remember hearing that comment....
I seriously got chills when they were reading that poem! I thought it was a fantastic idea and veryyyyy well done by Oprah (of course)
