legend or m & v limo quotes

i hate m&v.. I have my own personal reasons that I've shared on here in the past.
long story short, my friends and I went there to book our limo for prom (um 8 years ago) I was the only one 18 and over.. they were all 17. Well the MANAGER spoke to us like we were babies, using a baby-voice to tell us to go get mommy and daddy and come back with grown ups. meanwhile we had all worked and saved for this.
I ended up going with other friends because the friends I was with went with M&V (because they were the cheapest) yea my limo driver was AWESOME, theirs.. well he dropped them off at the gates to villa lombardi's, left, came back an hour before they wanted to leave and actually walked in looking for them, they said they weren't ready and he left and came back even LATER then he was told (12:30 when prom ended at 12) then took them to NJ, he dropped them off at the wrong hotel and left. they were supposed to have a limo pick them up the following afternoon... but m&v called and told them they weren't coming because they were rude to the driver. (ps- all their dates were over 21 and he wouldn't let THEM drink, which is understandable, but he threw their bottles on the floor, rather then put them in the trunk) so they had to call a mother to go get them, they were mortified.

I was just recently told most of the details because FH mentioned using them in front of one of my friends.


but then again, other brides have liked them... so its hit or miss.

I actually used both....both are in my review!

I used M&V for the bachelorette party, no problems. But I used Legend for my wedding, they really went above and beyond.

Gotta love Villa Lombardi's prom of `02...those were the good ol' NBHS days! We used M&V too....& come to think of it, there was a problem when they were dropping us off at the ferry. I was, of course, intoxicated (at least our driver let us drink!) & don't remember all the deets but I remember an altercation with the driver. He said we didn't tip him enough or something and started following us as we were walking away from the limo to go to the ferry.

....and who the hell did that happen to?? (u can FM me if you don't wanna divulge names on here ) I would be SO pissed

avoid M & V!!

They left friends of mine stranded on the service road of the LIE at 4am after a bach party. They said we don't go past exit 62.... yeah they picked them up in Coram exit 64 soooOOOooo.... they all had to call people to go pick them up. A bunch of drunk girls left on side the LIE...

omg pam, do you remember sal m walking around with the candle?
thats the ONLY thing I remember about that night... well that and jesse being placed outside and I was the only one allowed to talk to him... i wish we could do it all over again!

When I was looking at limo's I got some really bad reviews about m&v limo's. I've actually heard horrible things about them from other vendors (I won't mention who).
One actually said their owner outright said that he's in it just for the $ and if something goes wrong then tough. They can't control anything but still expect a tip.

omg, has anyone heard from chris? i haven't seen him since alisons wake... i think. i bump into jesse every once in a while..

eta- i just found him on FB lol... he looks SO DIFFERENT!

yeah same. i hear nothing but complaints about m & v and i wanna say the guy we booked told us they were looking to sell the company and get out.
i would avoid them like the plague
