LegoBride is back!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of months - here's a quick recap:

Dad had to have emergency quadruple bypass surgery. He had a heartattack without knowing (he thinks he is invincible) but 3 major arteries were more than 95% blocked - they literally did the surgery in the nick of time. He actually had another massive heartattack on the operating table but luckily he (literally) had the best heart surgeon in NYC operating on him.

Our eparty was schedule for 3/1 so we had to move it to next weekend 4/5. We were running around trying to rebook everything. My dad needed 24 care when he came home from the hospital so my mom took family leave but I still had to work - so mom would take care of him during the day then FH and I cared for him at night so she could run errands. He is coming along beautifully - I am so thankful we got this lucky. I am a daddy's girl so this was very scary. Plus I'm an only child so luckily Joe is so close to my dad otherwise i don't know what I would have done.

I am trying to catch up on my FM's but just know I am back - everything is ok and I missed alll of you sooooooooooooooo much!

WOW!! Well I am glad that your dad is doing much better and that everything is working out.

You have a GREAT FH for him to help you and your family the way he has been. That is really nice to have him as such a strong support system.
